  Liver transplant exists. Many hospitals in developed countries do it for people who need liver. But it can be expensive to do.

  Yes, they do, however, they are not common due to cost but more importantly due to the complexity of such surgeries. A whole liver may be transplanted, or just a part of the liver. In most cases, the healthy liver will come from an organ donor who has just died and had given permission for their organs to be harvested and used to save other peoples lives or research. Sometimes a healthy living person may donate part of their liver.
